The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce
The core of students participating from the University of Alabama will be students in our STEM Path to the MBA program. These are very high performing undergraduate students who are majoring in one of the STEM disciplines while also taking a series of STEM Business Honors courses and, ultimately, completing a one-year MBA following the completion of their undergraduate STEM degree. While in the STEM Business Honors program, the students are taught the Business Model Generation and Lean Customer Discovery approaches that are highlighted in the NSF's iCorps program, and work in teams of four to create proposals every five weeks for a new product or business
"We would very much like for these students to participate in this great opportunity, to give them the chance to collaborate under the mentorship of UA faculty to potentially create new solutions with the IP that NCI is providing."
